Official Opening

Dear Brethren....
      The National Anthem Project will officially open at the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. on March 10, 2005 @ 0700-0900 hours. Having received an invite, yours truly and bride Victoria, will attend the opening and the official dinner that evening. I have received permission to invite a small contingent of Heroes of '76 to be present for the opening and so I have asked Bro. Bill Turner round up a "representative sampling" of Heroes. I know that Senator Dan Inouye of Hawaii will be there.
      I am advised by Earl Hurrey, MSgt USMC (ret) who is on top of this program in Washington (ph: 703 860-4000; cell 703 216-9515) that the Project is at the head of the line for the use of Statuary Hall for the opening.
      Brethren, the kick off and promotion of this Program over the next three years (particularly its Hawaii opening on September 2, 2005 from the Surrender Deck of USS MISSOURI will afford Freemasony and National Sojourners, an awful lot of great PR. Freemasonry can be and will be in the forefront of restoring Dignity to our National Anthem, our Flag and our Country.....we can all chip in with this, and I urge you to contact all who you think can help....including your Grand Masters, Shrine Potentates, Scottish Rite Bodies, etc etc etc etc. Brethren, I am quite confident that this opportunity will pass our way but once. Please advantage ourselves with same. We have all answered "the call" in our Country's service before.....Now is the time to renew that "answer".....!
