Mark Twain aptly observed, "Everyone; comments about the weather but no one does anything about it"     Twain of course was referring to the fact that most discussions of any worth have deep seated emotional stirrings; and as such, we stick to speaking only about the weather, which we are helpless to change.     The harmonious relationship that we share as Masons and Sojourners is predicated on an absence of contention and an acceptance of the true measure of a man in his deeds toward his fellow man. President Vann wisely reminded us that the nature of our brotherhood is based on the diverse backgrounds and beliefs. These beliefs formed our individual character that led us to Masonic light.     We have a civic duty to vote, we have a Masonic duty to promote harmony amongst our brethren and the world in which we live.     We can't change the weather, but we can weather any storm together as comrades and brothers. Our Founding Fathers trust in God led them to create a most perfect union, as we have been blest to inherit it may we improve it and pass it on to our next generations.
